Specificity: Movie Scene

The Avengers, Ironman, Thor, the Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow, were at war with creatures from another planet summoned by Loki, brother of Thor. At this moment in the fight Loki was flying through the air on one of the alien hovercraft and gets knocked into the Stark tower, Ironman (or Tony Stark)'s home by the Hulk.

The reason I like this scene was that it's really funny. The villain, Loki, was tossed back and forth like a rag doll and that he was cocky before and then he's on the ground groaning. Even though the Hulk wasn't my favorite character, Captain America (played by Chris Evans) being my favorite, just went and thrashed Loki around. It was a random action and it was so out of the blue that I thought it was extremely funny. And another reason that this is my favorite scene is when the Hulk was saying something at the end. He said, "Puny God." and that made me laugh even louder than before.

  1. Fact: this is my favorite scene from this movie; I think it's the one that incorporates the best use of humor in to it. More than anything else, it seems to make a joke at the expense of the entire situation--you have these super heroes running around, and Loki thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread, when in fact, it's all kind of ridiculous that all of these crazy, abnormally powerful characters are running around acting like it's not a big deal that they even exist. Then, Hulk comes in and makes a joke at the entire situation by destroying Loki and calling him a "Puny God", which is even more hilarious because it happens in the middle of a battle which shouldn't--according to our ideas and understanding--even be happening. I agree with you that what makes it even funnier is how it happened so randomly and unexpectedly, therefore making it even more priceless.
